Hey,
I'm actually a member here, the only way I could think to do this was to make a quick account as I have a problem using my other one...I did try to emai/PM someone but couldn't.
I'm Synax_Injector
Just came on the site and notice I couldn't see my PM's link at the top right.
Tried to make a post in the Legoland topic I have going to thank someone, but it says I can't post either.
So I thought, oww...maybe I been banned
Had a quick check in my profile, and the only thing there is thread spoiling infraction which I got a few weeks back, and apologised for and accepted.
I went over some of my previous posts and honestly can't see a reason to be banned, might just be me missing something though.
I'd really appreciate some help with this please mods, was really looking forward to taking part in that summer challenege to runners in the general chat forum
Sorry I made a new account, by no means am I trying to "Get round the system" or anything...I just want to know if I've done something, or the site is playing up, or a mod has done this....and if so, please please can I come back for Aug 1st
Thank You
Robin

Just for clarification too,
Ages ago (I'm talking over 12 month here) I was banned for argueing with a mod, I think it was Ian I can't be too sure.
I waited about a month, signed up as Synax_Injector and sent a PM of apology and asked if I could please continueing using the site, he said yes I can if I behave.
I don't know weather an admin or mod thinks I re-registered and just started posting again and has cancelled my account?
That's the only reason I can think, but that was over a year ago now, and I had permission to come back...
Thanks

That's what I thought mate, and I haven't had any run ins with any one.
I posted, went out for dinner, came back to post to thank someone for a legoland voucher to find I couldn't.
But nothing in my profile or previous posts suggest why.
I'm happy to give a mod my phone number and talk this through...I just don't want to get banned from the only forum I use
I have PM'd 2 mods, so will see what they say first.
Thanks for your reply mate |

Just tried mate: Quote: Synax_Injector, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:- If you have been able to access the forums before then it's likely your account has been deactivated because an email sent to you bounced back with an error. Please check that the email address in your forum profile is valid, the mailbox is not full and you have no spam filters blocking emails from AVForums. If you enter a new email address a reactivation email will be sent to you automatically and you can use it to activate your account. If you have fixed a problem with your existing email address and you want to keep it then please contact admin and ask them to send you out an activation link.
- If you have registered but never been able to post then it's likely that one of two things has happened :
- Your account is not activated. When you first registered you should have received an activation email within minutes. If not then you need to find out why - did you enter your correct email address? is it accepting emails? is there a spam filter blocking the activation email? When you have found and fixed the problem then contact admin to have a new activation email sent to you.
- You don't have cookies enabled. Edit the security settings in your browser to allow cookies. These are used to help the forums 'remember' who you are and log you in automatically.
- Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

Sorry, it was auto-complete showing your original account, not the search result. |

This used to be a manual process I think but Stuart's message seems to indicate it may now be automated.

If you didn't receive an email then the newsletter is at www.avforums.com/newsletter/
We had 6,479 bounced emails for reasons such as 'mailbox full' or 'undeliverable'.
This is not uncommon since peoples' emails change and they don't always update their user profile.
All those people whose emails bounced have had their accounts set to 'awaiting email confirmation', which means they must enter and verify a new email address. We have done this because we require AVForums members to have valid email addresses.
If you have found your account awaiting confirmation then it is because there was a problem sending you the newsletter. Please update your profile to enter a working email address which will receive emails from AVForums.
Thanks | July Newsletter it mentions this on the front page of the website
