I haven't used telextext since I got Sky, but prior to this I really enjoyed it.

Seriously though, who the hell still uses teletext? Probably the same people who still use tapes and VHS and have pulse dialing telephones

Same here, I remember before we got Sky teletext was the only way to check the footy scores! Quote:

Saw this earlier, sad news.
I used to spend ages on Ceefax to kill time. I'd get my daily news, my gaming fix from Digitizer, read the outrageous small ads and who could forget Bamboozle?
Seems bits of it will live on though. Holidays?

Sad news.
But then, I just worked out when I last used teletext. Stopped using it when I got my first projector...
...19th November 1994.

It's never worked properly on DVB-T anyway.

I remember bamboozle LOL those were the days.
I still use teletext, it's much quicker than the digi version by a country mile and actually uses the whole screen not a ting portion covered with adverts!
My Dad used to have a TV that you could select and move up the sub pages of a teletext page with the remote not when teletext felt like, great feature.

Sorry, but I'd rather focus on the internet.
With Ceefax/Oracle/Teletext/Whatever you're looking at early 80's BBC Micro model B "graphics". I should know, I programmed the damn things.
