Amidst all the doom and gloom.......

.....this story came as a real change.

Full recovery for two hearts girl

An absolutely fabulous piece of work by the experts, they deserve a hearty pat on the back for this and we can all take a little consolation that actually modern medicine is sometimes extraordinary.
Well it cheered me up!

Yep, good bit of work.

One thing though.. Why did they leave the original heart in if they assumed it wouldn't recover?

Any doctors or surgeons on here (I'm assuming there is some) able to shed any light?

Medicine can be very interesting, I wish I'd gone in to it myself.
