Re: Worst nightmare ever

a sad tale indeed.
but this bit...

"Our stupid snake got out in the middle of the night and strangled the baby"

I can't help but think it's the boyfriend of the child's mother that is the stupid one for not making sure he kept the snake in an escape proof vivarium.

Re: Worst nightmare ever

The ownership of large Pythons & Boas is far too unregulated for my liking. Completely unregulated here as well, and as far as i'm concerned, there's less dangerous animals on the Dangerous Wild Animals list than large Boa's & Pythons.

Their losing their native animals to wild Pythons in the Everglades as well.

That's the first thing that came to my mind. I know it may sound harsh but there should be thorough investigation into whether this constitues child neglect.

If the snake was so stupid I don't see why they were so inclined to keep it in the house in the first place.
