Not sure if anyone has had this problem b4 but the last 3 or 4 times I turned on gears there were weird lines going down my tv. Rainbow coloured lines when I started playing. However on certain screens like the Pause screen or Matchmaking they didn't appear. But during the game and on some backgrounds they came up. Made it very hard to play.

Then today I put Rock Band in to see if my Xbox was feeling ok and I got the E74 message, just wondering if anyone has experienced this problem. Not the E74 but the weird lines.

I had this just hours before E74. Any screen that had 3D images rendered were all lines and coloured blocks. Menu screens were fine. It was late so I switched off... following morning E74 was waiting for me.

E 74 is now covered by the 3 year warranty if that helps...
