GOW help

Hey All,

i bought this yesterday on a 2 for £30 offer (along with PGR4). I seem to be struggling somewhat.

I see the tips come on the bottom of the screen when i die (which seems to be a lot). One of them said something about reloading at a good time gives damage boost but i can't seem to do this.

Another said something about pressing a button to do a special shoot while in cover but i can't seem to find this button either.

Also, is there a way to aim and throw a nade without coming out of cover?

Also, any more tips appreciated.

Thanks.

You need to master the art of active reloading

Press the reload button (RB) and as soon as it hits the white line Press (RB) again this lets you fire straight away without the gun jamming

as for the nades, while in cover you can select the distance for the nade to be thrown with the LS stick and RT , or do as i and im sure many others do tag it to the wall by pressing B, you now have a proximity grenade as soon as the enemy walks upto it Kaboooom ! ...well thats the plan :D

NO need for that... he never did say GOW2?

I do think GOW is still a better game than GOW2... so I'll roll my eyes again.

If you fire (RT) while in cover without pressing LT to aim, you'll blindfire. It keeps you in cover and works with guns and grenades but it's hugely inaccurate.

Best way IMO is to use LT to pop up and get a decent aim and drop back into cover by letting go of LT when you start getting hit.

From cover...

Pop up (LT)
Fire (RT)
Pop down (Release LT)

Rinse and repeat till the bad guy is dead.

Pretty much the easiest way to survive most of it, can't say I ever really need to worry about flanking too much on GOW
