Hi all i'm a bit of a novice on the xbox and was trying to play GOW 2 on friday night. I was trying to play 2 player from the same console as in not split screen but as say me as Marcus and the Mrs as Dom all in the same battle.
Is this possibleand if so how????
Do I have to be online? Do I need Gold membership? Does the Mrs need Gold????

As far as I can remember you have to play split screen, but you can play the campaign co-op or regular multiplayer with two players on one console.

To play multiplayer, at least one of you will have to have a gold subscription (I don't think both will, but could be wrong), you just sign in the second profile once in the game.

I think you can play via LAN with just the silver (free) membership

Hook a 360 to another 360 via ethernet, you will need to copies of the disk 'coughmaybecough'.
