Well its happened again.........

Turned on Gears tonight for the first time since ranking up to 30 last weekend. Went to carry on with my insane campaign and dropped me to the beginning on Hardcore.........thought it was weird so turned it off and tried again. Exactly the same. Joined a live game and I was rank 1!!!

Seriously angry!!

Has it happened to anyone else and what are the odds on getting it rectified?

Cache wasnt cleared, havnt done that for over 6months. I exited to the gears main screen then to dashboard, closed down correctly as Epic 'suggest' and it still knackered it. I really cant be boyhered with it anymore. Hopefully the Gears 3 ranking wont suck b@lls and it'l actually work!

yeah this game is to flawed to be enjoyable now, ive defected to COD and no complaints there

It was never really enjoyable anyway, but the ridiculous XP system and the profile deletion really doesnt make me want to go back to it. In fact I wont other than the get the insane achievement. I too have to back to COD 4, other than the Americans hosting at least its fun.

for rank u should be able to reach rank 30 in a couple of weeks it has loads of flaws but i still enjoy it

Easy to solve the rank & enjoyment problem.... Don't play ranked just player matches with your mates.

Because Im a bit of a cheevo whore

Wanted to get the Horde cheevos which unfortunately meant you needed to be rank 10, 20 , 30, 40 & 50. Cant be bothered now though. It will just sit on the shelf until its forgiven.......Or Epic fix it.
