The best way to play gears 2 imho is not to expect anthing as you'll be majorly disapointed. There has been numorous times when I've pulled the sweetest head shot only for it to make a speck of blood pop from their head (so it's obvious I hit them in the head) and then get beasted with their mini cannon minus the pullcord and wheels.
Epic have proved time and time again that gears 1 was a fluke but saying that though I still play quite often but switch my temper off once I load the game otherwise the disc would get the angle grinder or hammer

What is ridiculous? The Epic forum or the game

If you ever visit the Epic Gears forum just have a look at when all the regular posters joined the forums, the vast majority joined in '09 because most people got banned when Gears 2 was released. It makes me laugh because I was on those forums before Gears 1 was released and I too got banned more than once but the lad that has the most influence on there now,(Ortana) only joined just over a year ago and thinks Gears 1 was rubbish

If Gears 2 was any good it would of been able to climb out of 4th most played and challenged Cod and Halo. Its just

single player for me is still a V.good game.

MP is utter tosh with the exception of Horde (with friends)
takes about 3 days to match you to a game. then everyone quits

GoW1 lost out to CoD and Halo too. You can't fight sheeple.
