Making a come back?

IT seems more and more people on my friends list are playing gears 2 now. Has it improved recently? I have to admit I played a few games the other night and it did seem better.

On a bit a of a side note - does anyone know when the all fronts collection is being released in stores as opposed to dlc from xbox live? Im tempted to buy it if people are coming back to the game as a lot seem to have it!

The GOTY edition comes out within the next couple months. It ships with the game and All fronts.

I have only started playing online recently but then I've gone nuts and racked up nealry 30hours of play! I find it good the majority of the time but I still suffers from glitches and the "chat" can be frustrating as most Americans appear to have the mental age of 6! The new maps and improved playlist (easier to get the games needed for the online cheevo's) seemed to have given it a boost! Can you not buy all fronts through the dash?

Ps and off topic, do you have a renaultsport yourself? I'm an RS'holic! Currently run a 58 reg 197 after owning a 225, a 172 and a Clio valver! Really tempted to get an R26.R next!

The problem with Gears2 is you can play a few great games and then its lag central with other players abusing you because there not good but they think they are because there connection is way better. I personnally love Gears2 especially horde its just disappointing that so much dlc has come out before the game is even a year old. So whats next for Gears? Will the next game just be campaign and they use the same mp as Gears 2 just with map packs?

very true so much dlc in 8 months but its better that way as there only map packs (same as waw), not had a session in 3 weeks but after batman i will level up to *50*,i still hate the lobby ppl wanna play

annex,i was abused the other day by a yank and i said i loved him and it went silent

who knows i would think number 3 will be out xmas 2010

Been over a week since I played myself as I have been improving my gamerscore with single player games so I may give it a go with the love/hate relationship which is Gears. Silencing an American surely not

@ toon, annex has it's own playlist now so I think you'll find it easierto get a game of something else. Enjoyed our guardian sesh the other day, I'm better at it than I thought I would be and I've learnt to 2-piece since then!

Might give it a bit more of a go then - had a really good game the other day. No lag and even got 3 headshots with the snipe. I did have somone msg me though and tell me i was the host - so maybe that was it. The subsequent games werent quite so good!

fewie225 - I did wonder as soon as I saw your name if you owned a 225. I currently own an 2008 08 plate Liquid yellow R27 clio. Awesome car - best i've owned yet. Goes like a rocket and handles brillantly - shame about the mpg! I did look at a megane as I came from a Laguna and thought the clio was quite small but I really dont like the bum on the meg.

An R27! Very nice mate, especially in LY! Wanted to get one in that colour myself but the wife wouldn't sanction it so I've got a nimbus grey with black speedline wheels and the recaro's, best seats ever!! The looks of the megane do grow on you, some days I miss the meg but other days it can't hold a candle to the Clio!! Went on a track day at cadwell a few months ago and it's on track performance asthonished me!! My bottle ran out before the grip ever did! Do you use any of the Reno forums? I'm on Renaultsport - Home as fewie_172 or on www.clio197.net as fewie, if not get on them as there a great source of info and stuff!

Feel free to add my gamertag mate and we can have a bash on gears and talk motors sometime

Clio 197.net got hacked - they had to start from scratch so you will need to re sign up.

I used to have a Megane....piece of French pap fell to bits

Got a very nice Vauxhall Vectra now that has lovely seats, nice big steering wheel and very bright interior lights & the whole family (Me, missus, 2 kids, labrador & 2 goldfish) will fit in the boot

I may have to trade to an older model soon due to the purchase of a new house and if I do a bread van will be on my shortlist!! A vectra certainly won't be though!

Bread van mate lol but saving to upgrade to an RB320

A nice little blast on Horde last night with Tetlee, MarkWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW and Dwayne saved GoW2 from the trade-in pile.

I about to run through the DLC cheevs and punt it at the weekend.

I've just started getting into Horde a little bit so wouldn't mind hooking up with a few of you.

I've been playing with randoms for a few days and most seem to quit once they die - I must have played the first 10 waves about 20 times!

I'm online usually between 9-12pm, and occaisionally have to nip out of the room for a bit to settle to the baby
