Completed GOW2 on hardcore no achievement

Has this happened to anyone, completed it last night on hardcore mode and I got no achievement. Once I defeated the massive lambent I got a message saying insane mode unlocked, but no hardcore achievement.

Strange one mate, just had a quick look at your gamercard via xbox.com and its showing up on your "recent achievements", but not on your GOW2 achievement list. Thinking it may appear for you soon, have a quick look at the journal and see if its showing up there, all i can think of really

Ah mate, sorry got mixed up there...the one i looked at was the GOW1 cheevo you got

well GOW 1 and 2 are weird. Last year I completed Act 1 and Act 2 on GOW1 on insane that unlocked , but when I finished Act 3 it never unlocked the Act 3 insane achievement.

Dont know if it due to the fact that a lot of times I dont bother connecting to XBL whilst playing the game, usally play offline as Im only silver.

Did you do the training level at the start? if not it could be that.

I got the achievement. I looked through all the checkpoints and saw that Act 1 - 2. Desperation was only done on Normal so I played through it on hardcore and as soon as I completed that the 75g achievement popped up.

I'll need to go back to GOW1 and see if thats the case for the insane achievments that never unlocked past Act 3.
