MW2 swap at Gamestation?

If I want to get Forza 3 what would Gamestation give me for my copy of MW2?

I've completed the single player campaign and am sick of being killed over and over again by 12 year olds online.

If I was you I would but it as a swap in the classified section as at gamestation you would probably have to put some money towards it, I would think between 10 and 15 quid.

I got £30 which is what I would have got on fleabay after costs but minus the hassle.

I got £36 trade in against L4D2, don't know if that's just for L4D2 or any trade in though because they are advertising L4D2 for £3.99 when you trade MW2.

Nipped into my local game to buy GTA:EFLC, asked how much I would get for the sealed Forza 3, she offered £13 cash or £18 store credit. Went to HMV they offered £13 off a purchase.

All they would do if put the £39.99 tag on it as its sealed. What a cheek.

What makes it worse is you actually see these games on the shelves at Game going for a tidy packet just knowing someone has traded them in for that £13.

Personally speaking even if I had raided a lorry load of Forza 3's I still would never accept £13 for one.

I don't think that they can legally sell it on as new. I was in Game with a friend when he was after a DS for his daughter, but wanted a different game from the one bundled so he effectively traded in the bundled games to get the one he wanted. After he'd done the deal, the guy behind the counter unsealed the ones that were traded in.

On the subject of trade in, I will normally trade in at GameStation and get them to price match CEX (who are next door), which would get you £25 cash, £31 credit on Forza 3.

Hijack away mate. I got the answer I needed.

Perhaps there should be an ongoing sticky thread for what prices people get for games in Part exchange? It could prove very useful as different branches seem to offer different deals and it may stop some people getting a poor trade.
