Really looking forward to this also. Will be good to keep this thread updated all the way up to release date, as I'm sure some places may do special offers closer to the time, such as the supermarkets. Looking at the Limited Edition I may go for that.

I wouldn't expect any supermarket cheap prices - pretty much has to be a PS3/360 big release for them to discount it.

Supermarkets only do price cuts generally in the last four months of the year when the big releases are out.

Gameplay.co.uk are now doing the Mass Effect 2 Collectors Edition for £54.99. Game.co.uk are the only other site I know who are doing this. Gameplay normally get the game to you a day before release too. Standard edition they're doing for £37.99.

to be honest this is a title which I'm really looking forward to so I don't mind paying a premium to ensure that BioWare will have the funds to carry on making the great games they do in the future.

If anyone's still after the original, I managed to pick up a copy in Curry's for £7.50 last weekend. Hardly a brilliant deal (but the best I've seen of late) and possibly store-specific so I haven't bothered starting a new thread.

also ordered mine from amazon. you also get a code for an infreno suit (amongst it's characteristics apparently it aids in lie detection by monitoring eye movement (sounds cool)).

Thanks. Am pre-ordering from Amazon now. The Collector's Edition seems a good pack, but price wins out for me. Also wanting Bioshock 2 which is just a couple of weeks later, but at least Amazon are easier to deal with than Argos if I decide to cancel.

Will be interested if any of the console offers are updated to include this (as they did Forza 3 or L4D2 were).
