I would hardly call that a bargain or the cheapest price considering you have to trade in a game that you probably paid a decent amount for in the first place.

On a similar note, Gamestation offer MW2 for £4.99 when you trade in 2 selected games. Or £24.99 when you trade in COD4. No trade ins being taken after 5.30 on Monday.

Mods, do you think we should keep all MW2 price info in 1 thread? Otherwise we're gonna have a silly number of threads. 1 thread would be easier for people to compare, with say confirmed prices on the first post.

not a very good deal unless you got one ov them 4 games cheap in the first place, not such a bad deal if you have finished the game and wont play it again or you bought one thinkin you will like it and didnt as its probs the best trade in price you will get for them games £35 ish trade in

We already have in the 360/PS3 COD section, it's a tad OTT.

I'm waiting for the "Who's taken the cellophane off their copy yet thread", or the "Who's going without food and drink on the 10th thread"

I know games go for RRP of upto £40, but as soon as you take the cellophane off the value drops considerably and games only tend to hold their value for 1-2 weeks at most ,

As an update on this post when walking past my local Blockbuster they have a sign up saying midnight launch here and we wont be beaten on price by Game, Gamestation or HMV

So that's another avenue for people to try

I still stand by this deal i think it's hot , much better than trading in 2 games + £5

2 of those games being Uncharted 2 , which you can get £33 trade at cex, so that's £66 worth +£5 , now which seem's the better deal

Exactly, it'll get rediculous. People have already mentioned HMV and Littlewoods in the big main thread, but they've got thier own threads now with no new info. I'm all for everyone helping each other, but come Monday, we're all gonna be flicking between threads and it's going to be a pain in the arse. There was 1 thread for the Windows 7 launch and the first post was kept up to date, that worked really well.

Cheapest Modern Warfare 2 Pre-Order?

I don't see the need to, the one we already have seems good enough. Plus that would mean I'm adding to the problem that I'm complaining about, which would be a bit hypocritical.

Tell me about it. You're right, but there's bound to be a load of smarmy people going into that thread then making comments like "well why are you opening a new thread". There's already an eagle eye out there calling me out for having 1 letter wrong in a word.

I wouldn't touch Call of Duty: MW2 if Infinity Ward paid ME. The definition of a greedy company in this economic climate.

Most Gamestations are not allowing trades of 2 game which are the same.

Not surprised they've started saying that, but i know people have already done it on their trade in cards before they got wise. Overlord 2 + COD4 isn't such a bad deal though.

Holding out for the supermarkets personally.

i no, would keep the bargains all nice and tidy in one place then you would have a few options in that 1 thread to choose the best deal for you instead of looking at every deal thread

If you lot re-read the thread title it say's cheapest CONFIRMED INSTORE price, not cheapest preorder , speculation or rumour like most of the threads consist of.

We've got confirmed and rumoured prices there now, in 1 thread, to make it easier.
