Is it just me with issues here?

I received an email from ShopTo saying that I need to update my stored card details... I've had the thing pre-ordered for over a month now!

I updated my card anyway, which was the same as before, and now it's saying "The PaymentSystem is not supported on the account."

So it looks like my pre-order is screwed over, and after all the re-assurance messages about free upgrades to UKMail delivery to avoid postal strikes.

Now, I love shopto over the past year but majorly dissapoint with this, it might only be me with the issue, but consider it a cluster**** for me. Not sure I will be using them again, I wouldn't have minded if they would have taken my card when inputted again though!

i got the same email around 2 monthe ago but i did not update. i hear they are doing this cos they have had problems with customers CC & have updated the Security. people are recomending using Paypal with them.

A case of damned if they do and damned if they don't at shopto at the moment.

There are reports of breached security that just won't go away despite shopto's apparent best efforts so they upgrade security only to disapppoint lots of previously happy customers.

Obviously doesn't help you Waynej but that's the way I see it.

If it's any help I only preordered a couple of days ago at gamestation and some of their stores are opening at midnight.

Not sure what's going on with ShopTo, I'll be honest here the main reason I like them is because they are usually competitive on pricing and more importantly, I really like them getting games to me two days early!

I had noticed that when inputting card details that it seemed different, and at first I figured I may just delay them posting it, but was a bit mistified as to why my card would not work. Typically on most sites you also have a drop down box to select card type, I saw none of that.

Paypal would be great, although from what I've heard here recently that it's a no-go for pre-orders - and pre-orders is the main reason why I normally like ShopTo.

i'm not sure quite what is going on with shopto either. but they managed to annoy alot of forza 3 buyers...
