Didn't see this mentioned in the other threads...

Littlewoods currently selling it for £55, but there is a discount code which, when applied at checkout, will give you £25 off all orders over £50, bringing the price down to £30.

They are also not using Royal Mail and show a delivery date of 10/11/09.

The link is for PS3 version - but I'm sure the same deal applies to the 360 version...

Incredible! What a deal! The delivery date comes up with Wednesday 11th, a day after it comes out, so if you can wait a day or two after it's released, you can save yourself £15+.

The code also works with Very.co.uk (a subsidiary of Littlewoods), where MW2 is only £45. Add something like the Spa gift set to top the price upto £50.

You'll probably get some negativity because some people don't believe that Littlewoods honour codes, but I've personally never had any problems.

I'm really tempted to order this now!

Although I have ordered at Coolshop and have been sent an invoice, I'm thinking of selling it off on ebay on my costprice + P&P so at about 39 quid.

From very.co.uk, its costing me 29 quid for game plus spa set.... Price includes delivery.

I doubt I'll get it at a cheaper price than this tbh...

Yeah. Seems there's no way to cancel orders with Littlewoods. Was gonna go with Very.co.uk and get the spa set too, lol. Oh well.

Not a bad deal

ps I've never had a problem with codes from Littlewoods\very, but its always advisable to keep an eye out in the next couple of weeks.

ShopTo balls up my pre-order by not accepting my card, regardless the fact I've had the game ordered for over a month, and still won't accept my card when I go to update the details.

And, of course, the bargain in the Hardened Edition that is mentioned here, is now sold out!

I thought that as well matey, but I tried it without the spa set and it worked.

Nice work. However, I would be careful, because Littlewoods take the full amount then refund the difference you save with the voucher a few days later. Keep an eye on your card statement and make sure that they do refund you.

Just cancelled my order with Amazon for the Littlewoods deal.

About 3 weeks ago I got 2100 Live points for £7 from them so I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and try again.

I only realised tonight (while ordering MW2) that they charge you full price and then refund the discount. Just checked my statement - they did the refund on the live points

I also took advantage of the promotional code Littlewoods did a a month or so ago and got the cheap MS points. They did hold up their end of the bargain and refund the difference a few days later. I'm guessing alot of people used that code. So I expect this code will got alot of use also, and they will hopefully again, refund the money saved.

It says the full price on my order also, that's because they refund the money you save with the voucher a few days later.

As I said to travid earlier, the voucher states you must spend £50+ for the voucher to work, if you're failing to do that then they may not refund the money you would save with the voucher.

As I said, I have not had a problem in the past, but you still have to be careful and check your bank statement/cc statement.
