GC+HDTV+Component Lead=Crap Picture?

Hey All

Could some kind soul post a couple of captured images from their gc on a hdtv please?
Its just I am playing Zelda [In progressive mode] and have just seen the gamertv review, their review shows no 'jaggies' on the characters while mine has them in spades.

I have a US gc and am using an official component cable with seperate audio out.

Re: GC+HDTV+Component Lead=Crap Picture?

Its all down to the set to be honest. Some have great de-interlacers and scaling chips and some don't. The gamecube progressive image is 640x480 which scales upto 1280x960 beautifully without much in the way of a scaler but its when you get resolutions like 1024x1024 or 1024x768 etc you might get crap results. Plasma's in my experience do a better job with standard definition material than many LCDs. What is the actual resolution of your set?
