Saw some screenshots of Mario in Edge magazine yesterday. Can't wait. Was starting to get tempted to buy an XBox but I've just got to have patience and wait for a Gamecube.

Have you not considered getting an import machine? Then you can have it now and the games are cheaper, I am paying between £28 and £32 from DVD box office.

Excellent news. Thought the GC release schedule had been a bit poor since initial launch. One to look forward to though. Plenty to keep me going on the XBOX until then!

Yep, I've used them - I've got used to paying direct import prices though!
Anywhere in America/Canada (i don't trust dvdboxoffice to ship quickly with games after they stuffed me with the GC)

dvdboxoffice don't tend to rush things, plus it usually takes about 10 days after shipping to arrive. The difference for me is that between paying £28/£29 to paying £50/£60.
If money is no object, then buy elsewhere but if you can wait then dvdboxoffice is a good buy, I have used them many times over the past couple of years.

Joined this one topic late but here you go....
For the console: www.lik-sang.com
They give you a JAP/USA machine that can play games from both countries. You change the country with a flick of a switch.
To avoid high impoirt duty askt hem to shalf the invoice amount for you (they will do this but no more).
CD Universe
Games ship fast and they are reliable.
You only get shafted on customs if they send you stuff in a big box, So order a couple of games at a time and they get sent by envelope.
Finally I have the following games Ihae completed and am seeling for £25 each including postage. All USA versions
Batman Vengence
Wave Race

Further to the earlier, I would reccomend Lan Kwei: www.lik-sang.com
Another HK based mob, but they are a bit cheaper, and will be more helpful with customs..
They are also reputed to be MUCH more helpful than Lik-sang with any problems (DOA console for instance)
If you are feeling flush go for the Panasonic Q - it is very shiny
And it is also a pretty good Progressive scan dvd player. There is a PAL dvd mod coming soon.

Hi, Alex.
Can't wait for Super Mario Sunshine, huh?
I'm going for JPN version which is due out on 19th of July.
I ordered my GC and games from Lik-sang.
And they arrived in roughly 24 hours. That is from Hong Kong!!
I don't think anyone can do it faster.
BTW, have you got Biohazard yet ?
If you don't, you should check it out. Seriously.... the best graphics I've ever seen on any consoles and PCs.
It's shame that Capcom didn't bother to utilise 480p progressive mode in Biohazard, but... still graphic's amazing. Maybe Capcom will implement the 480p mode in U.S. release which is due out on 30th of April.

bishman, the screenshot/graphic of mario sunshine look really crap.
And below is the reason for it. Quote: |
The game looks great in motion. The game will FEEL like the N64 title, because it’s SUPPOSED to. Also, the textures in the background objects are PLACEHOLDERS. They are Mario 64 textures, and are just there until the final textures are in. The game is very smooth, running at 60FPS, with loads of animation frames
