Question Import Cube...where to buy?

Hi guys,

I have finally decided to get a Cube, had an XBox but sold it after about a week as I didnt like it so dont try and change my mind LOL.(Love my PC games so the XBox just dint really do it IMHO)

Anyway I am looking for a UK supplier of a US Cube,I have emailed Fairplay-Games who were recommended by someone from here but only had a reply to say they have no stock and they have not replied to a further email or answer the phone.

So whos the best to deal with and also who's offering the sweetest deals.

Thanks

Steve

Why an US box ?.

What does it offer over UK boxes that are cheap as chips at the mo in the stores ?

But the price of an imported US XBox is about the same as a chipped PAL machine, which offers prog scan on DVD aswell as games, also you can get loads of emulators and applications for nothing.

Import cube`

Playasia have them for about £81, and they also have the platinum one in stock too, same price

Apparently you dont get any import tax with them, as they re-ship from the u.k. aswell.

Also the pack comes with the zelda disc at that price.

Hope this helps,
Spoony.

But you can do both those with a UK cube, more like he just doesnt want to use freeloader.

Vicious rumours Im afraid, dont believe everything you hear!
Progressive scan topic has been hammered to death on here, and the UK cube is capable, the component cable that you need to do it is in fact an official PAL product!.

http://www.chrismarshall.net/freeloa....php?format=UK

Out of 163 US and JAP games (majority US) submitted by users there are only 2 Jap games that dont work with Action Replay on a UK cube, Giftpia and Bomberman Jetters, and with Freeloader there is one extra, another Jap game, F Zero GX.

So, the only reasons not to buy a UK cube are if you dont want to use freeloader/Action replay, or you want to play Giftpia, Bomberman Jetters and F Zero GX all in Japanese, or you want to use S-Video as an output.
