I need to buy my mum a present in the form of a phone which she can use with skype. She is not very computer minded so I would like to get her something that functions as a phone which she alredy knows how to use A collegue at work recommended a Phillips 8*** something series phone which plugs into the router meaning that the PC can be turned off and the phone still works. I tried to google it but it seems that it has been discontinued. Also the router is 2 floors up so it has to have long enough range

Please recommend a good phone meeting my requirements. Price is not an issue, I just wont something that works well
