Hi,

My brother is due to emigrate shortly and I suggested we both got skype with webcams to keep in touch. He said he'd heard that skype can allow virii through the firewall. Is this a load of old what-not? Surely it's no different inprinciple to streaming audio form th eiplayer for example. Has he heard an old wives tale or should I be concerned?

old wives tale ....dont worry about Skype....tell him his "firewall" doesnt stop virii anyway, thats not its job ..that will scare him
