Hi,

Im looking for a new broadband supplier....

Ive been drawn to sky due to thier 'unlimited' stuff....
However I've heard BE are good and their shorter contracts sound better to me......

I was wondering if anyone had any experience of their fair usage.....

how much is the download limit, whats the service like etc...

I've been with BE* for the last 18 months or so and I've found them good so far - had a few initial problems with the supplied BeBox (which I've put back in its box and I'm now using a proper router ) and my internal cabling, which in the end I totally relaid and things are fine.

Fair Usage - I don't do P2P but I've never had a problem with BE* despite downloading large service packs and disk images from legitimate sources.

If you're in reasonable distance from your exchange and have tidy wiring go for it.

well my download usage is quite large....
I download alot of massive files for work etc and I can easily get to 200+gb in a month.....

I used to have sky in my old house so their unlimited stuff worked a treat......

Do Be put a figure on their fair usage?

but the main thing that draws me to BE is their short 3 month contracts (i may be moving house in 6 months)
also their online speeder checker thing says they'll give me about 16meg a second, where as skys online checker only say 6.5 meg a second.............
