USA purchased DECT phone issue

Not sue if this is the correct forum but thought I'd ask anyway.

I'm about to go to the USA on holiday and quite fancy bringing back one of their swanky VTECH DECT 6.0 phones back as they are not available here. The model I am interested in is the Vtech LS6245.

What would I need to do here to make the phone work, I am presuming it wouldn't detect UK ringing signals , will it even work at all ?
