VoIP question about Fring & Sipgate

Does anyone know if the Fring download for the Nokia 5800 will enable my mobile to make calls via my Sipgate account?

Re: VoIP question about Fring & Sipgate

Hi

Fring will let you call any VOIP provider set up on your mobile. I assume you want to use wifi rather than mobile data. You will need the 3g version of the Nokia 5800. You should also download a hotspot finder such as wefi.

I myself only use sipgate for incoming calls using their free number; they are very expensive for outgoing calls. This allows me to have an UK number for friends to make a local call. I use smartvoip for outgoing calls at the moment but periodically switch as prices keep on changing.
