I've looked at the GN Netcom GN 9330 USB Wireless headset and the 9350 model of the same manufacturer but don't understand the differences. I've also looked at the Logitech ClearChat PC Wireless, but same story...i don't know why this would be any better or worse than the Netcom.
Ideally I want a two-ear headset (there is probably a correct term for this that I don't know). (I don't like in-ear pieces).
I have a wireless skype handset but it is rubbish as I had to stand beside the receiver to get a reception. I'm prepared to spend ~£100 on a wireless headset...any pointers would be appreciated.

Despite what you see on all the packaging, there are not any specific 'Skype compatible" headsets...Skype let's you select from any valid audio devices so provided the headset works with your PC it'll work with Skype.
There are a few decent bluetooth headsets around if you want wireless, but that means using a BT dongle or something.
