Suggestions needed for Vonage Set-up

Hello all.

I'm in the process of starting up a home business; a business which will require around an hour of phoning UK landlines each day and a London phone number (I'm not based in London). I'm looking at Vonage as the answer.

However, I have a problem regarding location in the house. It's a two-storey house, with the O2 modem router downstairs and already ethernetted to the PS3, NAS and Sonos. So in other words, I can't move it. I'm planning on working upstairs with my wireless laptop (v good signal). But I obviously need the landline upstairs too. Oh, one more thing, thanks to various reasons I always work with a headset.

What's the best way of organising things? I can have the Vonage box downstairs and then use a cordless phone, but then this would mean spending more money to get a bluetooth compatible one so I could have a headset. Would homeplugs work so that I could have the Vonage box upstairs and then buy a non-cordless phone with a traditional headset?

My head is starting to spin, so any advice would be much appreciated!
