Does the offer also include the "AV10" (as opposed to the High AV10. It's not mentioned in the list, but I am looking for an equipment stand of around these dimensions, so it would interest me in that case.

Thanks

SEE US at Bristol Hi-Fi Show 2004

Hi

Just to let you guys know we are at Bristol Hi-Fi Show http://www.bristolshow.co.uk/, as usual, at the end of February this year 20th-22nd that's - Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Held at the Marriot hotel, should be a nice busy show, we will have our STRATA enclosure http://www.avforums.com/forums/showt...hreadid=107254 running a PC into hi-def plasma to show people what the fuss is all about.
We will also have our Support ranges and Speakers on show.

Be great to see you all there on the first floor terrace right by the coffee shop and bar (yep - best spot at the show)

Cheers

Just a note to say that I have the High AV10 with chunky legs in cabinet form and it's an incredibly well made piece of furniture.

First time the missus hasn't moaned about me spending on kit!

Rod,

I currently have an Ultimate High AV Support, the best piece of furniture I've ever bought !

I'm thinking of complimenting this with a matching octagonal side table and also a single transitional wall support (for a Sony HS10 Projector) + Cable Management Housing.

Are these included in the current 10% off deal your offering member of these forums ?

Yep we can include these items for forum members. If you know what you want then a call to the office will secure the order.

I will be out of the country for a week from midday today but Trina can sort you out.

Cheers and thanks for the compliments always good to hear.

Welcome back Rod,

Does my plan to use one of your Ultimate High AV Supports to support a Sony HS10 projector make sense ? From the Specs it would appear to fit the footprint and also within the weight limit for the shelf, I just wondered if you had seen one used in this role ?

Projector Cabinets

Gedo

People have used the Ultimate Range for projectors before, certainly footprint and loading arn't anything to worry about (Ultimate Range takes over 2000Kgs even load weight according to British Standards)
I have attached a couple of pics of Projector cabinets we have supplied previously- etched (frosted) doors and sides hide the unit when not in use.

Hope this helps.

I'd like to buy an AV stand for my gear

Pio AX5
Pio 868 DVD
Sky+
XboX
Pio 504 plasma media box

Will the Extended TV support be enough to carry the gear, or must I go for the AV10?

Regards

Emad

Hi rod,
when extra shelves are added do they have to fit in the existing stand with different spacing, or would it result in a higher rack?

thanks

Fitting Room

Hi cj

apologies for not getting back sooner, just returned from the Bristol Hi-fi show, very busy and I appear to have nearly lost my voice.

All Stands Unique supports (except the Carbon Fibre Reference Range) have independently adjustable glass shelves to the nearest 25mm. Adding shelves is possible to add equipment, as long as the overall height of the equipment plus air gaps and glass shelf thickness do not add up to more than the upright used in the support.
We use three heights of leg 375mm, 500mm and 750mm.

Hope this clears things up

Rod

A Solution

Cj

Just returned from more overseas stuff, have you thought about our AV10 Tower which gives you 1500mm effective height but split in half so the equipment is side by side. Support measures 1095mm wide by 420mm front to back by 815mm high?

Cheers

Thanks rod - I'd not thought of that. Have you a picture of the AV10 Tower - there doesn't seem to be one on your site, or does it look the same as the High AV (only taller ) Does it come with 2 adjustable shelves like the High AV 10?

Tower power

cj

You're right it looks like a High AV10 but is taller at 865mm high with an effective adjustable shelf height of 750mm. This model comes with three adjustable shelves, so it's a five tier system effectively.

We can offer custom height uprights inbetween the 500mm and 750mm, although there usually is a cost implication for setup of machines.

Hope this clears things

We had to draw the line on some options so we only offer the more popular High AV10 as a cabinet - sorry. As you can appreciate we have a huge range as it is.

Thanks rod - almost there now Just got to get the missus to decide on a colour. I'm pretty much decided on a High AV10 with chunky legs. Would like a touchlight dimmer too - I'm guessing I'd need an additional light unit, as well? Would also like a couple of Flex750s for cable management.

Is there a page on your site that shows all the colours side by side and up close? Thanks for being patient.

Thanks rod - would a single touchlight dimmer be enough for the High AV, or would an additional linked unit be better?
