One tv on digital channel needs constant re-tuning ... Why?

Hi all,

I have had this tv in my kitchen for a few years without problems but since the big switchover every other day it needs to be retuned before I can pick up my digital channel..... My other two tvs are spot on but are a better brand ...

My neighbour has a similar problem...

What is going on? It's almost like the digital signal has been degraded!!!

Anyone know? And who to complain to or how to get it fixed...

George

We'll need to know what make and model of TVs / set-top boxes they are, and (approximately) where you live.

Some need a 'factory reset', 'first time install' or to have all existing radio and TV channels stored to be erased before doing a scan for channels to work properly.

Absolutely brilliant.... THANKS VERY VERY MUCH... One of the other things which used to annoy me was that it would always revert to itv1 channel 3 when switched back on from standby.... Well the first time install has now FIXED the digital channels and switching on goes to last channel viewed..... Excellent

Thanks again.
