The 0225/6 software enables BBC iPlayer and a couple of streaming options via the Channel Zero front page - which is now loaded via the web.

It certainly stops the crash you used to get when you connect up the ethernet but, in common with most Freeview HD boxes, it will not enable access to the IPTV channels on Freeview 110 - 117.

Does your freezing only happen on certain channels? Unless there are signal difficulties (press "Exit" just after tuning into a channel and it comes up with a signal strength and quality meter. It can usually accept a signal strength of well under 50% and still have a stable picture) the cause may be that it is automatically switching from a BBC channel to either BBC 1HD or BBC HD or back.

You sometimes get a sort of audio loop effect on the radio channels in certain circumstances but I am not aware of any problems with the beta software and the TV channels.

Sorry to drag this thread up again guys, but is it possible anyone could email me a copy of the beta firmware that gives iPlayer access? I've emailed requesting the beta firmware (as others have) a couple of times but don't seem to get a response?
