Samsung LE40R74BDX/XEU

I have the above mentioned tv and ever since the recent digital channel 5 switchover thing, we have not been able to receive freeview on this tv, it was all working fine before this and we never had any problems, we have contacted samsung who have tried 'helping' but we have not made a breakthrough any ideas on how to fix this aty all, thanks.

Any advice, much appreciated.

cheers for the response, but unfortunately i have already tried this method and there is no option to reset at all, this is what samsung tried getting us to do, but it doesn't work for us, and the guy on the other end of the phone didn't seem to know of an alternative way to do it.

How far do you get?
What do you see on screen?

So, starting with the set in standby, pressing...

Info
Menu
Mute
Power

Doesn't restart the set with service menu items on-screen?

sorry for the delay in replying,

no, it just goes to the analogue tv screen, if we go onto dtv we get bbc 2 with the logo and 'mono' in writing stuck on the screen, and we can not go to any other channel. We cant even access d.menu to find a firmware upgrade.
