Anyone having trouble with a Thomson DTI6300 on Freeview?

Hi

I got myself this new box which worked perfectly for a couple of weeks. Then the sound and picture started juddering (like when a sat signal is obstructed or sat aerial out of alignment) making it unwatchable.

I think this was just before the last switchover date as we did a retune after that and it made no difference.

TopUpTV blame Winter Hill.

Since then I've defaulted the box, done multiple retunes, formatted the hard drive from the service menu, checked all the cables etc etc.

Googling leads me to believe that it might indeed be the Winter Hill transmitter and that it might be resolved after Dec 2nd?

If I plug the aerial back in the TV then the picture is perfect and the aerial was bought specifically for Freeview and as I say it worked perfectly for a couple of weeks with TopTV/ ESPN etc.

In South Cheshire. Can't find a way to manually retune the Thomson box to the different MUX settings shown in other threads if that might help?

Any ideas/ guidance/ suggestions as to what might be wrong or what I might do as a temporary fix very gratefully received.

Thanks in advance
BP
