Decent Freeview box + question

Hello,
Could any of you give me an idea of a good twin tuner Freeview box with Hard-drive for under £100. Our Sky+ box has almost given up the ghost, Hard drive has broken, one tuner down.
Have become a bit disallusioned with Sky to be honest and have decided to go Freeview, for a while at least.

Also (stupid question alert), can the freeview box just be connected to the existing Dish cables rather than an aerial?

Thanks for any advice.

There are plenty out there for under £100, but most are not true twin tuners - like mine, it records one and lets you watch another, not two simultaneous record like your Sky+ box. So you might want to look at a second hand Topfield or Humax box which are proper twin record boxes.

As for dish - Freeview is only available via an aerial, and won't work with a dish

To answer your last question first - ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Sorry to shout, but Freeview requires a connection to a terrestrial aerial, not a satellite dish.

If you do have an aerial then what you call a a Freeview box with a hard drive could be what we call a PVR (Personal Video Recorder) or a DVD/HDD recorder with inbuilt Freeview tuner. I would suggest you do a bit more research before putting any money down - but the Alba ALDTR150 or Hitachi HDR163 PVRs on this Argos web-page are both (just) under £100.
