Will my samsung TV be able to pick up the new HD broadcasts that begin in early December from the winterhill transmitter. I seem to remember it has HD tuner built in or have I made that up ?

I'm sure the B650 series do NOT have HD tuners.

Your probably right, I just remember a load of stickers with TNT HD all over the TV when bought it and just thought I might have got lucky

I'm sure that is the French HD service which is DVB-T, rather than DVB-T2 as the UK HD Mux will be.

Definitely not.

There is currently no available equipment capable of receiving these transmissions.

You would need an external receiver ... when they become available.
