Splitting sky feed

Splitting sky feed

Hi all

Sorry if this has been asked before
I currently have a sky+ box,
is it possible to split one of the sky cables and put into the back of a panasonic G10 for freesat?
Is this what i need?

Using a splitter like that is a last resort, as you'll only get approximately ¼ of the channels available on the tuner that's connected to the blue splitter output (the one without the DC power pass). Can you not just run another cable from the LNB?

You also lose a large amount of signal strength and therefore likely to need a bigger dish

The walls on my house are soild concrete and about 13 inches thick and a pig to drill through
