Why do i lose my freesat signal after 10 mins

Normally when watching freesat on itv or itvhd i can watch the built in freesat via my Panasonic 46pz81b plasma fine but it only lasts about 10 mins then i will get the 'no signal' message and lose the picture.Surely if the satellite dish wasn't aligned correctly i wouldn't get any picture to start with.Cant understand why it will work for around 10 mins then just crap out on me.Could this be a dish problem or is it more likely a problem with the plasma ?

It could be anything from a failing lnb, loose cabling connectors, break in the cable to a faulty tuner in the TV. Turn TV off at the mains and undo and remake all satellite cable connectors.

Re: Why do i lose my freesat signal after 10 mins

I had a somewhat similar problem (signal breaking up badly rather than completely lost). It was caused by water corrosion in the F-plug as it entered the LNB. Sealed it off and problem cured.
