Red Button recording...

Only just got the Humax HDR but would like to record the delayed MotoGP tonight at 7ish when the missus will be hogging the tv. Unfortunately to access the programme is a press the red button job. Is this possible?

Thanks

You can only record stream1 by pressing the red record button manually. Pressing red record again gives you some control over duration. The programme is named as the programme you were watching when you pressed the red button

Re: Red Button recording...

Thanks for the reply. I am trying to get the missus to migrate from the sky remote to the freesat so interuppting eastenders or somesuch to get motogp recorded is probably not a good idea.

So, Only the primary programme can be recorded remotely If I have understood you correctly. If you want something that is on the red button you have to change to that channel and press it and then press the record [red] button?

Hopefully I have answered my own question

You have correctly answered your own question . Not sure why if you try and record something other than stream 1 it says recordings of less than 30 sec cannot be stored, no matter how long it was recorded for. You can probably record eastenders at the same time though assuming you have 2 cables.
