Try turning off the power for longer, leave it off for around 10 mins (the power supply has enough stored energy to run the box for ages as it only uses a tiny amount of power in sby.

Oh dear, before returning it try running the other stb off the inputs used by the hdr just to eliminate a lnb failure.

OUCH. Just a thought, could it be the drive that's causing the problem ?

Re: Foxsat HDR help please

Id say not because the first HDR crashed as many times as the second one which i put the 1tb drive i thought i couldn't get two duff boxes. But i was wrong.I cant believe a product would be released with this many issues attached.I thought my BT vision box had bugs but the HDR takes it to a new level that for sure.Oh well bring box number 3................

Incidentally that's a good price, might get a 2nd when the existing one starts getting full. (About 36% used at the moment)

Re: Foxsat HDR help please

yes it is a good price for the drive and i paid 235.00 for the hdr which would have been a bargain if they could last longer than a few week

ps told the wife it only cost 150...........

Re: Foxsat HDR help please

left it off for a few hours while i walked the dogs,it started took a while did a factory reset seems ok (fingers crossed) its got to be a software problem thats for sure.Checked for heat etc,see how i get on with but id advise no one to buy one thats for sure.I'll be keeping my topfield for a while until this box of junk has stable software.
