yeah AUTO changes it to whatever the broadcast is...
like i say he connected via HDMI
the VFORMAT changes through em on BBC-HD only and NOT on any other channels???
- it STICKS on 1080i on all channels
he does have a samsung and it goes on 576 whiulst on BBC-HD (also 720 and 1080i) - but like i say on all other channels it dont... and it should.. so you can choose format for your TV to suite - if he had a 720p set with no 1080i input he would be stuffed?
when he set it up originally it asked what he wanted it on during setup and he chose 720p.... months ago... now this is first time he's went to change it and it went on 1080i but thats it???
