HI, I'M NEW, FRESH OUT THE BOX...WITH ADVICE NEEDED PLEASE, I INTEND TO BUY A FREESAT PACKAGE VERY SOON.....I'VE " HEARD" THAT THERE CAN BE COMPATIBLITY PROBLEMS BETWEEN ,HUMAX and SHARP PRODUCTS...IS THIS THE CASE ? WHO ARE THE COMPETION TO HUMAX ? ( EQUAL or BETTER ). WHAT DISH SHOULD BE SOUGHT IN INSTALLATION?...THE PACKAGE WILL BE HOOKED UP TO A SHARP AQUOS 42 LCD, I RATE SHARP, SO MUCH SO , THAT I'VE ALSO GOT A 37 AQUOS AND SHARP BLU-RAY, EVERYTHING PERFORMING WELL SO FAR ( TOUCH WOOD !!) THANKS IN ADVANCE

Hi, and welcome to the forum but, one tip, don't use UPPER CASE letters for your postings, as they really are not appreciated.

As to your question, there is no reason as to why there should be any compatibility problems between Sharp and Humax equipment. For Freesat STBs there probably isn't a better option than Humax so go ahead and get one and worry not.
