freesat in France

Hi All, Has anybody got freesat set up in france?is it possible and whats the best way to do it, already have sony hd ready tv and would like hd and recordable (like sky +) i welcome suggestions, thanks Allan T.

It depends on how far south you are. A 60cm dish is adequate across much of Northern France with bigger dishes required in the South

Recently set up a FOXSAT PVR in Douai using a 65cm dish and 2 cables. Just followed the on screen instructions and worked fine, with good signal strength and quality.

thanks for replies, whats the best sat plus recorer to get?need lots of space on it, and not to high tech.

The only Freesat model currently available is the Humax Foxsat-HDR, which has 320Gb of storage and is pretty much plug & play
