Lip-Sync problems on ALL channels

I have the Foxsat HDR connected to my Samsung 46"LED TV via HDMI.If I use the optical out either from the Foxsat or the TV into the Philips Home Cinema amp there is lip sync.The Foxsat only has a feature to increase the delay(which makes matters worse)As my home cinema amp does not have any correction devices of its own am I stuck with the lip sync issue?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

P.S. The problem is the same on live tv and recordings.
