Channel 5 has disappeared from the TV guide

Not sure if this has been answered before..My parents have a freesat Thomson box and last week channel 5 (105) has just disappeared from the TV guide. Any ideas how to get it back. Also channel 103 has become ITV Central when it should be ITV West Country. Thanks.

Thomson don't make a freesat box. It sounds like your parents may have either a sky bov without a card or a generic fta box. Post what they have for more advice.

Managed to sort it out. Turned off at the mains for a few minutes . Re-booted and has now found Channel 5. Strange why it had disappeared.
