They advertised it in HD but it is not in HD. Why not? And my Humax pvr failed to start recording even though it was in the planner. The only good thing is that Southend have scored!!

I'm watching it in HD ........ another has said this too on Digitalspy. I can only suggest you give it another try

No problems using channel 977 to switch to ITV HD, here...

Im watching in HD. I have never had a problem switching to HD on the red button.

ITV HD works perfectly and always has. People who cant get it must have a problem with their set up or dish alignment.

That's odd. I switched away to Freeview then back to ITV and the red button appeared. Least I can watch the second half in HD! Doesn't explain why the Humax pvr failed to record the footy. First time this has happened in 6 weeks!

I just switched to ITV and pressed the red button without the on screen prompt, the match had started, and no problems, It's good that you've got it now, enjoy

I pressed the red button as soon as the prompt came up. At first a message came up saying "Service not available" but it went straight to HD and has been fine since.

As a contrast, for those of us with Sky, the SD picture is as bad as any I've ever seen. Get a grip Sky/ITV
