Hi All

Have both a new Samsung LE40A756 andHUMAX-HDR and not sure which is causing an annoying problem with the picture.Problem is that the picture is automatically re-sizing itself on a frequent basis so that will be full screen one moment then will shrink to a narrower picture with black edges the next then shortly after back to normal picture.Tried all sorts of combinations of aspect setting and picture sizing on both the TV and PVR but with no success so far.Seems particularly a problem on BBC news for some reason.Any help/advice gratefully received.

Turn off WS switching on TV.

By the way, your posts will be easier to read if you leave a space between the full stop, comma etc, and the following letter.

There's probably nothing wrong with your equipment. You've been noticing it on the BBC News recently because most of the Gaza coverage has had to be taken from other news channels (eg Mid-East channels) which broadcast in a different aspect ratio than !6:9. I doubt if there's anything you can do about it.
