Subtitles on ITV with Freesat

I thought I'd posted this already but it seems to have got lost:

Am I correct in thinking that you cannot get subtitles when viewing ITV with Freesat? I can pick up subtitles with SKY+ and also Freeview but when I use the Foxsat-HD box, they don't appear

Well I get them on ITV1 with my Free to Air satellite receiver, so I don't see why you can't get them on Freesat. Have to say, however, that all the subtitles on Satellite (when they're there at all) are much cruder looking than on Freeview.

They turned up later in the evening. There must be an intermittent on my Freesat box or something
