Broken up picture

Just bought mother-in-law a new Sony 32" LCD and it is great except for one thing. She lives in a warden managed flat which has a satellite dish covering all residents. On 'TV' setting, all channels display brilliantly except for ITV1, which breaks up intermittently (blocks of data?). Don't know what service she gets, assume Freeview as there seems to be many channels. But when viewing through 'AV2', the video scart, all channels are fine. Would this be a case for a booster for 'TV' as I understand the VCR has an inbuilt booster, which seems to be helping?

Can anyone help?

Re: Broken up picture

This should be asked in the Freeview section with a bit more info such as model of TV and does have built-in Freeview? is there a separate Freeview box being used too? (e.g. the reference to "..But when viewing through 'AV2'..."...then again could AV2 be a Sky receiver?
Details of exactly what is being used would help

Freeview - AVForums.com

This section is for satellite (non-Sky)

Except that the OP refers to reception through a "satellite dish", and perhaps meant Freesat rather than Freeview (which lots of people confuse).

So the post should perhaps be in the Freesat not the Freeview forum.

Yes, I agree.
I've re-read the post, but a lot more info is needed. It's bit confusing with references to Freeview, Sky and VCRs, as well as an LCD TV which has Freeview. It's probably a Sony
KDL32U4000/KDL32V4000/KDL32W4000?
