HELP... I have a Humax Foxsat HDR and have connected my sky cables to LNB in 1 and 2, all works great.
I have then taken a cable from the LNB out into My Sky Plus 160 box in Dish 1 input and get no satellite signal detected on my Sky Box.
I have disabled power saving in standby on the Humax and put it into standby but still nothing... Any ideas ??

One or two others have reported this (loads have had success). I can only wonder if the link cable is faulty or it's just certain sky boxes that have problems. Check the f plugs both ends - sometimes the rotating bit with the nut on breaks away from rest of the plug. You could also try the link cable in series with the feed to tuner 1 (using a f male to male connector) to see if it works OK.

Thanks Graham. It is a brand new link cable fresh out of the packet. But fair enough it could be faulty and tagging it on to the feed in would eliminate the cable being the error.
No settings to change on the Skybox then ? incidentally I have also tried Dish 1 and Dish 2 on the Sky box and re booted everything.
