Hi

Since getting my HDR box, i am getting the wrong region for ITV Meridian.

I should be getting ITV Meridian South East, instead i am getting ITV Meridian South.

Can anyone suggest a way for me to get the correct region/broadcast?

I have checked my postcode in the setup and that is correct.

Anyone else have the same problem?

My Sky+ box gives me the correct ITV region.

Thanks for your advice.

I have tried several different postcodes along the South Coast from Brighton to Folkestone and all i can get is either Meridian South or Meridian East.

I'm beggining to think i can't get Meridian South East.

Has anyone managed to get Meridian South East? If so, what postcode are you using?

I get Meridian SE with my Sky box, just can't seem to get it with the HDR box

Just checked that "Meridian South East" is available.

Checked here @ freesat - What's On

and it's not listed.

It seems the following regions are missing, and I can't find any info on them coming soon either.

Missing Regions;
Anglia West
Central South West
Meridian North
Meridian South East
Tyne Tees South
Yorkshire East

I have sent them an email, hopefully they might be able to tell me if they plan to add the region i want.

Unfortunately, Meridian SE is one of the regions that has had to stay FTV as there is currently no room on Astra2D. I guess that once the encrypted sky channels have been prised off of 2D there will be enough transponders to go round.

I have just been puzzling over the same question having just got a Freesat TV.
However according to Wikipedia, since Feb 9 2009, the only difference between Meridian E, S and SE is the adverts. All programmes and regional news are now the same. Half the regional variation presenters have been made redundant.
I'm not too bothered about the ads - are you?
