Freesat channels on the PZ81 range - compared to the Humaxfox Freesat box

Can someone clarify if you can get the same amount of Freesat (Satellite) channels on the Panny Z81 range as HumaxFox Freesat Box or new Humaxfox PVR ? TIA chaps.

Yes, all approved Freesat equipment, whether they are discreet recievers PVRs or integrated tellys will get exactly the same channels

Thanks Phil, reason I ask is that I was sure that I read that the PZ81 range did not reciever as many Satellite channels as the Humax Freesat box.

Could it be because the Humax can be switched into non-freesat mode and recieve extra channels that way? Not sure if the PZ81 has a similar mode.

I just tried this to see how it worked.

Spent about 45 minutes searching and found 300+ free to air channels and another 300+ encrypted. Went through and selected a number to keep and then exited - and all I seem to have is the original Freesat channels!

Any idea what I'm doing wrong????
