Freesat box?

Does anyone know if Freesat will offer a HD based PVR box like SkyHD or will it be a simple reciever sort of box?

There is supposed to be a range of about 3-4 Freesat STBs - and some exclusivity for the launch (if and when!!) manufacturers for the first 6 months. AFAIK Humax are going to provide the only HD-PVR during this initial period.

There is definitely a decent EPG with freeview playback equivalent recording assistance (delayed recording start, +1 channel alternate instance recording etc.) so PVRs are likely to appear. I wouldn't be surprised if the HD receivers were initially PVRs - as unlike SD (where VCRs and DVD Recorders are available) there is no external HD recording system, so it is PVR or nothing (in Europe anyway)
